Welcome to the New Year of 2023.
I’m sure you got all the multiple forwarded messages in your text inbox, WhatsApp messenger, and Emails. I did too.
The forwarded messages felt kinda cliche.
Well, we are on the second day of the new year, and I choose today to send my wishes. I didn’t want to get lost in the myriads of messages you will have received.
So, Taa Daa! Here is me wishing you a New Year.
Did you make any resolutions last year in 2022? Did you fulfill them?
I sure didn’t make any and I’m not stressed about starting any resolutions now.
I have learned over the years to be on the lookout for new opportunities as opposed to limiting myself to a resolution.
I started this blog on Blogger in September 2021 with no clarity. It had a different name. I was going through my Facebook in April 2022, when I saw an ad for WordPress blog training. Read about it here.
I took a leap of faith and on April 29, 2022, I got the blog official and set up. That’s my biggest achievement of 2022.
I got Google AdSense Approval within 6 weeks and lost it when I chose to change the blog URL sometime around August. I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to close the account. I have cried ever since.
Another achievement worthy of note is joining a writing program for journalism training in Architecture.
My family had a few scares health wise.
Financially, I hit a huge loss in investment and got scarred from dealing with people in business.
In terms of paid Architectural service, I haven’t got any offer from the blog. I did a few designs for close relatives and that’s about it.
As for relationships, I went on a few dates, basically as a way to get away from work from home. I’m still single, and definitely not ready to tango.
I can’t wait to see the opportunities in 2023.
