You have probably attended a lot of goal-setting seminars this 2024, for me, in all your goal settings, remember to use a time-block. I recommend using the Google Calendar to time-block your set goals and tasks in 2024.

Your goals have a series of little tasks to do, over some time, whether daily, weekly, or monthly.

List out the tasks involved for each goal. Next, determine the length of time it takes you to finish a task. It could be 30 minutes, 2 hours, 6 hours, etc.

  • Please, use a desktop to address these settings. The Mobile Calendar app should be used to receive the notifications.

To use the Google Calendar, log in to the Calendar, and follow the video below to set yours up.

There are the events, tasks, and booking options. To create a good time-blocked calendar, you will be using Events.

This method allows you to see all your daily activities in one view. In the description of each event/task, you can outline all that needs to be done within a time frame, and add a colour code, or links to a tutorial that helps you perform a task.

You can create multiple calendars and see how they interfere with each other.

You can also add someone else to the event, such as an employee to enable them to perform a task for you.

Another thing is that you can synchronize the Google Calendar with a lot of project management services out there like Trello, Monday, Asana, Clockify, etc.

Another time-conscious tool I’m learning to use is Clockify and When I Work.

You know how you use a timesheet in your office, or maybe a book where staff can sign in when they resume and leave work daily; clockify is for your online staff.

Also, some offices use the digital clock, like this time clock for employees.
