Stepping Into 2026 With Courage and Craft

One of the things being in this village did to me was to open my eyes to things I have either been ignoring or too afraid to do because I felt I lacked the capacity.

Take for instance, furniture design.

In my place in Enugu, I designed the basic furniture I needed, hired a carpenter to follow my drawings and voila.

But when it comes to telling you that I can do such, I freeze.

I have worried too much about criticisms and rejections about my work from you and colleagues.

I don’t want that life for 2026. Bring your criticisms, okay?

Just be careful with my gentle soul.

Anyhoo, something happened between July and August and I took the time to work on a few ideas; mostly side-stools and coffee table.

Here is one of them.

🍻Cheers to the festive season we are embarking on.

By the way, I’m working on the construction drawings for the Mmanya and other side-stool/coffee table designs.
